By November 2021, yhe total number of individuals in Poland infected with COVID-19 exceeded 3.3 million persons (362,697 active cases). The rate of infection per 10,000 inhabitants was highest in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, followed by Lubelskie Voivodeship, and Podlaskie Voivodeship. The highest number of infected people occurred in the Masovian Province (the center of Poland).
